A group of 10 students and 1 staff from ITE College West, Singapore have visited the Faculty of Information Science and Technology of Mahanakorn University of Technology (MUT) on 13 Jun 2017. The visits were part of their “Global Education Programme – Overseas Cultural & Study Programme (OSEP) Trip” to Bangkok, Thailand from 11 – 17 Jun 2017, with the objectives for ITE students to enrich student’s global perspective while immersed in the overseas environment, to attend ICT programmes which may include lectures, tutorials, workshops, conference sessions and project work to acquire technical skills. The GEP trip also includes study visits to industries/enterprises to acquire a better understanding of the workplace practices in the host country and to provide opportunities for cultural exchange, leadership and growth.

ITE have chosen to visits MUT, being one of the top university in Thailand and Asia and widely known as the first and still the only university in the country that operates its own low-orbit microsatellite.
